This is a very textured piece inspired by long morning and evening walks on my mostly deserted beach, lazy full body floats in the tide pools to the north and south of my home, and gorgeous sunset explosions that take my breath way each day.

Materials: I use acrylics and organic materials to achieve the stone like textures. Colors are blended on the piece. I blend both impasto (viscous paint) and washes to achieve the blended and natural effects. Painted on birch wood panel.
